MAHOTTARI, DEC 29 – Coordinator of the Alliance for Independent Madhes (AIM) CK Raut was detained again in the district on Monday. The security personnel detained Raut along with 19 activists from Jaleshwor where the AIM were holding a mass meeting.

Police had released Raut on Sunday evening after brief detention. He was then arrested as per the decision of district security committee following the instruction from the Home Ministry.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Lokendra Shrestha said Raut was arrested as per the instruction of the local administration.
