MORE THAN 80 MADHESHIS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
2015 June 25, Kathmandu, NEPAL. Nepal police has arrested more than 80 Madheshis, according to Hulaki News, including at least seven activists from the Alliance for Independent Madhesh (AIM), from Kathmandu during the donor’s conference on Thursday.

2015 June 24, Rajbiraj, NEPAL. Dr. C. K. Raut, the coordinator of the Alliance for Independent Madhesh (AIM), along his 6 supporters were arrested at 4pm on Wednesday again while he was attending a meeting along his supporters at Hospital Chowk, Lahan, making it his 11th arrest during last few months. The meeting was to discuss about foreign aid induced migration, deforestation, resettlement projects and human-rights violations in Madhesh/Terai, in the post earthquake period. (more…)

 सिराह : स्वतन्त्र तराईको पक्षमा अभियान चलाइरहेका डा. सिके राउतलाई प्रहरीले फेरि पक्राउ गरेको छ ।पटकपटक पक्राउ गर्दै प्रहरीले छोड्दै आएकोमा उनलाई बुधबार लहानबाट प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको हो। भूकम्पले तराईमा पारेको असरबारेको कार्यक्रममा भाग लिन जान लागेको अवस्थामा राधाकृष्ण अतिथी सदनबाट उनलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको हो।
